嘉諾撒聖家書院是一所校風關愛、師生關係融洽的傳統女校，功課量早年偏高但近年趨緩，教學注重均衡發展，精英班與普通班師資差異不大。直屬小學學生升中優勢明顯，外校生亦有機會。適合重視關愛氛圍、能自律管理時間的學生家庭。
校風關愛，師生關係融洽，訓導老師以關心代替責罰。2018年曾發生學生天台事件，校方處理受關注，但整體管教以引導為主，非精英班學生亦獲老師愛護。
功課量偏高，2016-2018年考試期間仍要完成多份功課，2020年初中數學錯一題罰做十題，但學生普遍能於晚上十時半至十一時就寢。近年（2024-2025）功課量趨緩，平均每日4-6樣，壓力視乎學生速度。
