迦密愛禮信小學是一所校風嚴謹、功課量偏重的學校，注重學術成績，提供拔尖補底措施。近年新校長改善措施，功課量略減，升中派位表現提升。適合重視紀律、願意配合學校要求的家庭，但需承受較大學業壓力。
校風嚴謹，以校訓「明道律己」為本，老師有愛心耐性，對融合生特別關顧。2018年新校長上任後改善措施：全年派卷、加強廁所衛生、家長日改週六、生日可穿便服。早年有學生追收保護費，近年已改善。
